    Just wanted to make a quick shout-out to chefs Jose Garces and Chad Williams who just grilled Bobby Flay’s BBQ ass during tonight’s episode of Iron Chef America (Battle Melon!).I had the privilege of working at Amada restaurant in Philadelphia for a few months last year, alongside executive chef and owner Jose Garces and chef de cuisine Chad Williams. These hard-working and devoted chefs owned the stage of Kitchen Stadium and I’m thrilled that they knocked an Iron Chef off his thrown!

    I also want to give a shout-out to Adam Gertler, former server at Amada who also recently appeared on the Food Network Channel as a finalist in this season’s Next Food Network Star! Adam, you TOTALLY deserved to win, but it doesn’t matter since they gave you your own reality show anyway!

    What can I say, Amada churns out stars…
