Talk about getting Daft Punk-ed
Everyone who’s any knows there is a major fight going on right now for Song of Summer 2013 between Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” If you’re anything like us here at AMP3 PR, you’ve got both playing on repeat. It’s going to be a tough call, no doubt. That being said, it seemed like it all might come down to the combination of song and video. The buzz through NYC was that in early June, Daft Punk was shooting a video for “Get Lucky”, with supermodel Karlie Kloss, on the streets of NYC.
Turns out the buzz was wrong, and in fact they were shooting an editorial feature for Vogue Magazine. While the fight for song of summer will continue throughout the next month or so, we get to share some of the Vogue shoot now and you can pick up the full issue on newsstands.
